Our Staff

Vicky, Receptionist

Vicky is the first person you will see as you come in our office for your eye exam. She may also have helped you to book your appointment by phone or from our website. She has been with Pflugerville Vision Care for 5 years in several positions. As our receptionist, she can answer or knows where to find the answers to your insurance and general questions. She helps your visit to our office to be a “good experience” each year. If you want to see her smile, ask about her granddaughter!

Chris, Optician & Laboratory Technician

Chris began optical training in 1987. She earned a certification by the ABO and her interests have not stopped. She is the lab “expert” for the Pflugerville Vision Care on-site lab as well as our optician. You will find her reading trade magazines and conducting research to find the newest techniques and materials available for your eyeglasses. Stop in and she’ll share her frame styling and lens choice information with you. Providing the best for our patients is the goal of our office!

Deborah, Manager

Deborah's career in optical started in 1986 and she came to Pflugerville Vision Care in 1998 as the ABO certified optician. As manager and buyer for the optical portion of the office, she is constantly looking for the latest in superior lens products and the best in frame styles for our growing community. Supplying the greatest selection in frame styling for each patient is a challenge that she welcomes.

Her hobbies are jogging, weight lifting and entering as many community events as she can that include these skills. Hiking while camping with her husband and Smudge, her dog, fills many of her weekends. Gardening is a passion and she recently finished classes to be a Master Gardener.
