About Us
Pflugerville Vision Care is a full service
optometric practice that are owned and operated by Drs. Steven and Tari
Thomas. The Pflugerville
office was opened in 1997 in response to the overwhelming demand for eye
care services in the area. At the end of October 2002, we moved to our new
Pflugerville Office building on Yellow Sage! Our office has enjoyed tremendous growth as a result of our deep commitment to patient service. Our online contact lens ordering system is our newest addition
to our services and it is another example of our commitment to making eye care
easier and more accessible.
At this time, there are two optometrists that see patients. Dr.
Steve Thomas sees patient and also spends time
each week attending laser vision correction procedures with our patients.
He has been in practice for ten years and has been living in Pflugerville
for the past seven years. He has extensive experience in fitting difficult
contact lens patients.
Dr. Amie Bethel has been with the practice
since 1998 and is a 1995 graduate of the University of Houston College
of Optometry. She lives in the area and specializes in contact lenses
and general optometry. She has also had extensive experience with laser
vision correction. She sees patients and also spends time
each week attending laser vision correction procedures with our patients
Our office is able to provide eye examinations, contact lenses,
eyeglasses, and computer vision syndrome testing and laser correction
consultations. Our optical dispensary is staffed by experienced opticians
that are fully trained to take care of all of your vision needs. We
have high quality frames and designer eyewear and all of the latest in
high-tech lens options. We stock a wide variety of frames in many different
price ranges and our opticians will work with you to fit your needs.
Contact lenses are another option available through our vision care office.
We now offer an easy online contact lens ordering solution! We can fit most people into contact lenses, even those with astigmatism
or those in need of bifocals. Great strides have been made in these types
of lenses in the past two years. If you could not wear lenses previously,
you may be able to wear them now. We tailor our services to the needs
of the patient whether you are a novice or an experienced wearer. We will
take the time required to get the best fitting contact lenses possible,
and our technicians will make sure that you are able to care for them
properly.
We strive to take care of our patients in every way. From convenient
appointment times and Saturday hours to helping people with their insurance
forms, our success has been built on taking care of the people who trust
their vision to us. Our growth is the result of our ability to take care
of the visual needs of those in our community in a friendly and caring
atmosphere. We will take care of you. |
